Can anyone explain about the design document and unit test plan in detail with the templates?

Kanchanchouhan,

It would be best if you ask your collegue, they must have a induction process for this kind of work. Every company have their own format of documents.

Basically Design document will contain the overview of the change, like,
Purpose of the change
Servers / Sub-systems
Database changes
File/Seqential Dataset changes
Psedo code of the change(not the actualy code)

Unit Testplan will contain basically,
Testing Sub-system
Testing Databases
Testing Seqential files
Conditions for testing the code
Test Input
Expected Output
Expected Pass/Fail Condition
