You would need to have tape mount authority from TSO, which is unlikely that you would have by default. Contact your Systems Programmers to allow this authority for your userid. |

Hi..
Please give relevant subject name. This could be useful in future when someone searching for similar information.
As superk said u need auth. Otherwise u can write the required version into flat file by running simple step like SORT/IDCAMS REPRO.
Hope this wil solve ur reqmnt
Cheers

Hi Rambabu,
As your GDG stores on Tape. First you have to migrate your GDG to DASD and then only you can browse the data in GDG. For me it is possible, first if we try to browse the contents of GDG on tape, it automatically migrate to DASD and then finally we can browse the required data. I dont know how we can migrate manually. Check with your administrator for this.
Regards,
Mike. |

Hi,
To Migrate the data from Tape to DASD we use HRECALL command.
