Hi,

I had a COBOL program with SPF/PC and the output files are .txt.

If I see these files with an editor like Notepad ++ or PsPad the hexadecimal value '20' is becomed '09', but if I see the same files with SPF/PC the hexadecimal value is not changed.

Thanks.

Hello,

On a PC an x'20' is a space and that is the only value for a space on a PC.

I suspect that there are other values lower than x'20' that are control characters and are causing the data to be shown incorrectly.
