One of our cics region gone down owing to compression of a dataset.
Is there any ISPF command or any method to find out the user who compressed the dataset. Are those details tracked ? |

Hello,
Suggest you review why the dataset was not restricted. . . Most people should not be able to compress a pds that is part of an online environment.
Suggest you make sure that any/all compress jcl specify DISP=OLD.
I believe it is less important to fix the blame than to prevent re-currence. The system should have prevented this. |
