Hi,

I have a requirement to know the generation number ie the "G****V00" number attached to latest generation of a GDG.

Can someone let me know on this ( some utility in cobol or JCL ? )

Thanks,

LISTCAT LVL displays all generations of mentioned GDG base. However my requirement is just to get latest generation of GDG without using REXX or ICETOOL.
