I am trying to run one FTP step to send the data from mainframe to XXX server.but facing abend U4093
Explanation: Abend issued during initialization when errors were detected.
I could fetch out some information from sysout as "The application was not
authorized to use UNIX System Services".
can anyone elaborate this to solve the problem? |

| FTP in z/OS is part of TCP/IP, which requires Unix System Services to run. If you cannot use Unix System Services, no FTP. As Enrico said, you must contact your site support group to get authorized -- or you will not be able to use FTP. |
