Hi guys and gurls,

I have a COBOL program and I'm trying to compile it under JCL. I goto SDSF to see the output from the compile. How do I get rid of previous status messages.

When I goto SDSF I type ST then S to view the output.

Also is there a fast way to get from my editor, after submitting to view SDSF?

Thanks,
Bob icon_wink.gif

For getting rid of previous messages just place 'p' before all the messages and press enter which purges all the jobs.
By the way no need to go to SDSF.after u type sub in the command line and press enter, again type 'start sd;st' in the same line and press enter.
u will directly go to messages and pressing 's' is mandatory to view the output.Hope this helps u out.Do reply if u r getting this.BYE. icon_biggrin.gif CHEERS.
