Hi,
I have an requirement, where i need to include a specific broker code records, the input file which got generated in the previous step(in csv format).
so what i did was removed the header & trailer records and taken them into a seperate file using sort step and then wriiten a srot step on details records to incude only a specifyic broker code records in the output file.
Till here everything is working fine, Now the problem arises when i am merging the header, new details records file and trailer file, as the trailer file contains the old count.
So is there a way, using a sort step i can count the no. of records written the output file and then update the count in the trailer file.
Thanks in advance for your help. These is an urgent requirement, so a quick reply will be much appreciated.
