Comments on Hitachi Mainframe in Application support perspective.
Basically i want to know how much time will it take for an IBM mainframe guy to get the comfort on HItachi mainframe.
note: i posted same question with different id, but since i forgot my id password i am posting the same again.

apart from operating system....
can you please tell me on ISPF panel options, scheduling of jobs, implementation of programs/JCLS and so on...
in terms of production support regular tasks

useless remark....
the tools depend on the operating system ,
hitachi mainframes IIRC are capable of running an Hitachi operating system or an IBM operating systems.
if the operating system is an IBM operating systems, there will be no difference in the approach,
if the operating system is the HITACHI then You will have to find out somewhere else,
these forum are devoted to, the name tells, IBM technologies !! |
