Dears,

Can any one help me how can I do my below requirement using DFSORT / ICETOOL.

//dd1 DSN=xxxxx1
// DSN=XXXXX2
// DSN=XXXXX3

I need to check whether my needed string value is present in the above datasets or not? If yes then I need to write that dataset names into a file.

Chip

why don't you use batch ISPF 3.11 and/or 3.12? superc.
that is already set up to
  • search for your string
  • tell you which file and record within the file the string was found
?
