Hi,

I have a job which runs currently at the below schedule. This job runs every half an hour in the below time schedules

MON - 00:00 to 04:00 & 18:00 to 24:00
TUE - 00:00 to 04:00 & 18:00 to 24:00
WED - 00:00 to 04:00 & 18:00 to 24:00
THU - 00:00 to 04:00 & 18:00 to 24:00

schedule ids are being used for each run 111,112,113,114,115,116,117,118,119,120,121,122,123,124,125,126,127,128,129,130,131

This job schedule needs to be changed to the below shcedule, which runs every one hour in the below schedule

MON - 18:00 to 24:00
TUE - 00:00 to 06:00 & 18:00 to 24:00
WED - 00:00 to 06:00 & 18:00 to 24:00
THU - 00:00 to 06:00 & 18:00 to 24:00
FRI - 00:00 to 06:00

I am trying to use the SASSBSTR program in the JCL to update the CA-7 schedule.

I am not sure how exactly to write the update statement to use the enough schedule ids and delete the un necessary.

i have got below syntax from some other script

UPD,SCHID=111,ROLL=D,INDEX=+000,TIME=(1815,0015,1800),WEEKLY=Y,
DAYS=(X,,,,,,)

In the DAYS field can if i add some more X will it mean that is applicable for those days.Is the above syntax is correct one? and also what is the syntax for deleting SCHID

Can someone please help

Thanks,
Srinivas.
