Hi,
We are asking our client to upgrade the DB2 version. We are currently working with DB2 ver7 and asking them for ver8. I would like to know that by doing this so will it affect the CPU consumption. We know that by doing this we can change the cursor usage like from single row fetch to multi row fetch. I would also like to know will there be any change in the DB2 process like access paths and various other aspect by which the CPU consumption can be reduced. |
