Alissa,
I have a question , iam reading a FB file length of 123 bytes and passing in to a WS-group variable layout ,now requirement is need to read VB file & 126 bytes instead of FB file ...so in this case changes in program are
changing the Recording mode and length but do we need to alter the working storage group layout to include the 4 bytes for thr VB file?? |

Or at least search the "Mainframe COBOL" part of the forum on "VB files" - you'll get enough topics to start with what you are looking for. |
