Hi,
Plz explain me the difference between
RUN PROGRAM(TESTDSJB) PLAN(TESTPLAN) LIB ('DB2DBA.DBA.BTCHLOAD') PARMS ('/parm1 parm2')
and
RUN PROGRAM(TESTDSJB) PLAN(TESTPLAN) LIB ('DB2DBA.DBA.BTCHLOAD') PARMS ('parm1 parm2')
Note: with forward slash and without forward slash

Parameters after the slash are passed as Language Environment run-time options. Parameters before the slash are passed to your application program.

Shreejita, that was a quite specific response. If you don't know about Language Environment, you need to go to the IBM web site and read the LE manuals. |
