Hi
I have a multi volume Tape dataset in my shop, and it has expired yesterday .
Now I want to retain it for few more days. I have recataloged the dataset .
If I update the expdt in the first volume will it be reflecting in the remaining volumes? or I have to update the expdt in each volume? |

Upon expire, the volume chaining is broken. There are utilities to rebuild the chain or update the volumes individually. |

Hello,
Suggest you work with your tape storage management people to apply the changes you want. |

IIRC, the utility for rebuilding chains is TMSAGGR. See the CA-1 Utilities Guide to be sure. |
