Hi,

We are trying to restart a step in Proc and also we are overriding (+1) version of GDG with (+0). But when we restart it is saying that 'CANNOT RESTART CMT ENTRY INVALID'.

Can you please help us how to resolve this problem?

Thanks,
Sreenivas.

Hello,

It may help if you post more complete info. . .

What was the error message id? Are there more messages not posted?

Post the standard jcl and the restart jcl.

Then, maybe someone will be able to help.

Based on the CMT I assume this is a CA-11 message -- if not then none of this applies. The CA-11 manual lists multiple reasons for this message and the abend code (20 or 64) indicates which problem you have.

I recommend you dig into your CA-11 manuals, find the abend code for your job, and read what is the fix for your problem.
