How SUPERC Utility used in Real Time

I wnt to knw abt super c utility.how it is used in real time.

Hi,

Superc utility is basically used to comapre datasets.U use this utility to see how many lines are compared and how many lines differ .

Using SuperC you can compare PDSs also..
It would print the lines which have a mismatch in both the input files and in the end there is a summary also..
But i wud prefer Fileaid compare becoz it even underlines the places where there is a mismatch..

Superc is just 2 compare 2 data sets .and get it whether they r equal or not.its generally 3.13 but it varies according 2 the ISPF

In real time...

Jus assume this....In your current task you are making some modifications to one program... Before staging that program to production, we should do SUPER-CE to confirm our changes.

This will assure you before going for final delivery....

As everyone said, the concept/usage is same. Also we can use this utilty whereever u reqd like these situations.

Hi, if I wanted to compare only some lines in a program (ex. 1- 100 and 300-400 lines out of 500 lines), what kind of options do I need to use it.
