Hi ,
On which basis do i need to decide whether to use STORED PROC or COBONLDB. I have read through the red books for stored proc "DB2 for z/OS Stored Procedures:Through the CALL and Beyond " and googled but could not get the answer for it .
Everywhere the stored procs use is compared between application server directly connecting to DB2 server without stored proc against the use when stored proc is used in between.
But if any of you could compare the COBONLDB vs STORED PROC would be much helpful . |

Sorry to include the local jargon 'COBONLDB' . I meant here was the CICS Programme which uses DB2 tables in mainframe . |

Hello,
It is not clear what you want to compare. . .
If you provide some specifics, someone may have a suggestion. |
