some years back there was a project done in our project to change IEBGENER to SYNCGENER? I Want to know what is better in SYNCGENER in comparision to IEBGENER. Please suggest. |

If you look at the DFSMS Utilities manual, you'll see that IEBGENER has many functions that can be performed via SYSIN control statements. It is very complex and just happens to copy data unchanged by default.
SYNCGENR and DFSORT's ICEGENER try to simplify and optimize the process when a simple copy is all you wish to do. |
