Hi,
The naming of the PS, PDS , CLUSTER files is upto the companies policies. Usually the project Leader will give names accordingly to the Client project undertaken. The Client will be informed about the names perhaps through some documents or when both of them meet to discuss the progress in operations.

It depeneds on the application on which your client is based.
Usually the high level qualifier will be related to the appliaction and the rest of the qualifiers will be related to the specific project undertaken.

for example for a SUBLEDGER application project

Hi Karthik!

The File names will be given as per the client's standards. But can you please tell us why you need this information. In which way the naming standards are going to help you?

Hi Karthik!

I mean to say These things will no tbe helpful to you for any interview questions. But Okey, There is no harm in knowing those things. But out of security reasons people can't provide their datasets names etc.etc. Got my point.

The naming standards and all depends on the client, project etc etc.. Anyways you will come to know when you join some organization right!
