Hi All,
I have a file which has 24863283 records am sorting this based on a condition so it reduces to 14379670 Records now in next step am splitting them into 3500000 records. here 4 files are getting splitted into 3500000 records but the 5th file has more record i mean more than 379670 records if i check the o/p files then the first splitted records final i.e) 3500000th record is 3497761th record in sorted file in the same way the 3500000th record file of second file is 6995393th record of sorted file.
i am not able to figure out the exact problem. |

Anand,
What exactly you are trying to achieve here? It's difficult for one to make out what you are trying, from the above explanation. Explain in detail and mention all the rules for extracting output records. |
