What exactly are you doing here.

Do you want the figures representing the utilised space for all devices within a given UCB range.

Contact your site storage group and ask them would be my first suggestion. Since some of the storage may be dedicated to systems other than mainframes, you really need to have at least three categories -- mainframe storage allocated to something, mainframe storage not allocated to something, and non-mainframe storage.

The best bet would be to ask your storage management people, and /or your performance / capacity planning people.

What different SMS STORGRPS are on a box can effect its utilisation at any given time, so possibly statistics during the day will mean nothing overnight.

Perhaps if you say why you need to know this, it may help figure out a solution.

Hi expat,

As you've been told -- twice -- contact your site storage group. They are the ones who can provide you this information in the easiest and most effective way possible. If you are not a storage administrator, you probably do not have the access required to generate such a report.
