Hi,
Generally in our system we use PD,ZD,BI but I don't know the specific use for SFF and UFF free forms.
It will be very helpful if someone explain whats the specific use of these free forms.
Also if I use EDIT option with these free forms then is that going to work?
Kindly share knowledge on this. |

sid_aec,
See the Topic "Free form formats (SFF and UFF)" in my paper at:
www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=isg3T7000088
SFF (signed free form) and UFF (unsigned free form) can be used for numeric values that include separators (e.g. commas), decimal points, various types of signs, etc. SFF extracts the sign and digits from these values. UFF extracts the digits from these values.

Yes, EDIT can be used to edit the digits for output. You can also use edit masks (Mxx) and TO=fo. |
