Hi all

Does anyone know the resolution for the following error
06.21.29 JOB28226 IEF453I NBKHDBJA - JOB FAILED - JCL ERROR - TIME=06.21.29

when i submit the job, i am getting this error. but the JCL error is not getting displayed when i scan for errors.

Also, it is not able to identify the variables declared, so for testing, i need to hardcode the values.

Can you please help me.

Psychic day was Tuesday this week

So I'll take a guess at line 14 of the JCL, because unless you actually bother to post the output for us to look at that response is about as good as it gets icon_evil.gif

Have you tried coding MSGLEVEL=(1,1) on the jobcard to see if that gives any more information.

Is this JES2 or JES3

07.15.11 JOB31753 IEF196I *IEFACTRT* J=NBKHDBJA,S=(003,JS012000.PS00100 ),NOT EXECUTED
07.15.11 JOB31753 IEF453I NBKHDBJA - JOB FAILED - JCL ERROR - TIME=07.15.11
Since you're not providing all the output it is tough to tell, but based on what is here I would say the first two steps ran and the third step did not -- which implies the JCL error relates to a file you are attempting to create in the third step of your job. I would start by looking at that step closely. And if you could post the actual JCL that you're using that would give us some more ideas .....
