To add a numeric field and create a trailer in ZD format

I want to add a numeric field and create the trailer record in the file with the summed value and the record count. The total and the record count should be added in the trailer in Zoned decimal format. Is this possible using SORT?

Yes, you can use an OUTFIL statement with TRAILER1. Use TOT for the total and COUNT for the count.
