Hi,
I am using Universal Command on Mainframes to trigger a script on Wintel machine. The script which is triggered, uses "WS FTP" to FTP file from Unix machine to Wintel machine.
When I trigger the job from mainframes, it triggers the script correctly, however, the job hangs when trying to FTP the contents.
This script is running correctly if I run it directly without using mainframes.
Can anyone please give some pointers to this issue? |

Probably not from the info provided so far. . .
Not only is there a lack of detail, but i am completely confused by the first sentence. It mentions mainframe, unix, and something "win"-based. . .
What is Universal Command? Where is it executed on the mainframe (tso, cics, jcl, other)?
Most places that i've worked with run ftp on the mainframe via jcl or the mainframe is set up as an ftp server and connections are made to this server for upload/download. If you are running any jcl/control statements on the mainframe, please post them (using copy/paste and the "Code" tag for readability. Please do not post screenshots as they introduct clutter and are deleted. |
