During modification of a varibale in a record in IDDM,the whole record got deleted as I thought of deleting the element only...but later I created that record in IDD from the structure which is in dialog but there in IDDM some more elements were there along with the elements which declared in Dialog...
is there any way to get back the deleted record...plz suggest me how to get back that...now as I have created again in IDDM only one version exists..i tried with many versions but its not there.

KCS,

Ask your DBA to copy that record from production dictionary to test dictionary. After that make sure that you have taken backup in test environment itself before doing changes.
