Hi,
I am unloading the data which has 15 dates and values can be null.
I have unloaded the data in a file. When I am opening the file using the fileaid (specifying the copybook for the table), I am not able to see the data correctly. Also the date indicator occupying only 1 byte instead of 2 (Indicator S9(4) comp)
Can anyone help me where I am going wrong |

Depends on how you are 'unloading' the table.
Maybe you have null-ind-variables (as well as lengths for varchar if there are any)
which means the copybook for the table is worthless.
you need a copybook that matches the 'unloaded' data.
If you ask anymore questions, provide us with a cut&paste image of the data with HEX ON using bbcode |

Hi,
Please check with the sysin and the unload card. When we are unloading any table we can give a fix value to unload when a colum has a null value
like
If null then '000000' some what like this there is a option.
So check what are you replacing with.
May be this help.
Regards
