I have a input from the user that is in format YYDDD. how to know what day is that using rexx is there any built in function. |

Plus you may have to add some code of your own to break it down to exactly what you want that DATE does not give tyou.
Manuals in the usual place. |

But i have input 09159 and i want outpout like Monday or Mon.
