Hi,
I want to compile my REXX code.
But I don't have a JCL to compile REXX.
Could someone please provide me the same.
I have gone through the previous posts that were posted on this site, and I looked in SYS1.PROCLIB for REXXCL.
But i was not able to find the same.
Thanks a lot in advance |

Hello,
This would be site-specific if any is available.
You need to talk with your system support people. |

The REXX compiler option is a PAY FOR extra. Many companies do not purchase it. |

'am not REXX expert, so pardon me please, if I get it wrong -- REXX is an interpreted language - why do you want to compile a code written in REXX? |

And it can be compiled.
There are various reasons given in the documentation regarding the compiler product. Source security for proprietry software is one, enhanced speed of execution is another. |
