Can I change the destination of temporary storage WRITEQ to Aux from main in the XTSEREQ exit?
If not.... Can it be done at all ????

Certainly. You can even make it more finite and limit your change only to specific TSQ's or even a TSQ prefix.

How's your Assembler? icon_wink.gif

The CICS Customization Guide should provide you with the DSECT associated with this given GLUE.

Many times, you're passed an ADDRESS of where you can find the data, so keep this in mind.

Because of the amount of EDSA available nowadays, AUX has fallen out of favor and MAIN seems to have been adopted as the better way to go. But, you can get good response time if DFHTEMP (AUX) is added to LSR.

Note that TSQ's written to MAIN are not recoverable. icon_surprised.gif
