Hi,
can anyone name some standard utilities for dataset backups to DASD volumes? And also is there any procedure for taking backups into mirrored DASD volumes? |

We use IDCAMS only......Is there any thing specific you are looking for.

Yes,
I guess IDCAMS is the standard VSAM utility to back up data set to and from DASD volumes. |

DASD mnaufacturers usually have have software for snapshots of volumes.
