I have searched and found two ways to find the Version of the DB2 that i use in my Environment.

1) Type TSO DB2I and then select DB2 COMMANDS and use -DISPLAY GROUP to get the Verision.

2) QMF will give the Latest version on the first Screen

I tried the both ways and found different Versions.

Can anyone help me out on this.

Sri,

QMF Home panel shows QMF version, not the DB2 version connected to. Here is Version 7 Release 1. Remember each product/tool will have Version and Release no.

Code:

______________________________________________________________________________

QMF HOME PANEL                       Query       Management     Facility
Version 7 Release 1

Once you are "in" QMF
Code:
QMF HOME PANEL                       Query       Management     Facility
Version 9 Release 1
hit PF1, usually the first topic in help menu is about the current release of QMF. When you hit PF1, you'll get something like this:
Code:
      Help: Query Management Facility

Select a topic.
                              1  to 11 of 15
    1. What's new in QMF Version 9 Release 1
    2. Learning about QMF
which states that version on QMF panel is for QMF and not for DB2.
