Hi,
I have seen in our JCL where a file will be deleted by the following SYSIN while using PGM=IDCAMS
DELETE N5046.TESTING.TESTING SCRATCH NONVSAM
Can we use IDCAMS to empty the contents of the above file instead of deleting it? |

Hi,
the answer is yes, just REPRO a DUMMY file into the FILE you want emptied.
