Hi,

Back again icon_smile.gif

I have a requirement to extract the active CICS jobs.
These jobs are actually executing, but if u give a DA command in SDSF they don't appear.

I tried the SDSFEXT tool prescribed by CICS GUY but the tool does not recognise CICS jobs as active jobs.
The filter command "FILTER QUEUE EXECUTION" did not work either.
When we put ST the below screen appears.

Code:
PREFIX=CICSTD*  DEST=(ALL)  OWNER=*  SORT=Pos/A  FILTERS=1  SYSN
NP   JOBNAME  JobID    Owner    Prty Queue      C  Pos  Max-RC
     CICSTD5  STC13169 TCICS      15 EXECUTION
     CICSTD8  STC13172 TCICS      15 EXECUTION
     CICSTD6  STC13170 TCICS      15 EXECUTION
     CICSTD7  STC13171 TCICS      15 EXECUTION
     CICSTDA  STC21176 TCICS      15 EXECUTION
     CICSTDB  STC05511 TCICS       1 PRINT            8 CC 0000
     CICSTDD  STC05513 TCICS       1 PRINT            9 CC 0000
     CICSTD6  STC05556 TCICS       1 PRINT           10 CC 0000
     CICSTDE  STC05544 TCICS       1 PRINT           11 CC 0000
     CICSTD7  STC05560 TCICS       1 PRINT           12 CC 0000

When we put DA the below screen appears and CICS jobs does not appear.
Code:

 .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .

Make sure that you are in the right LPAR region. if you are in different LPAR region and the CICS jobs are running in different LPAR region then i think you'll not see with DA option in spool.

Also try command SET DISPLAY ON to ensure you are not restricting your displayed jobs thru PREFIX, OWNER, etc.

Just for grins, please post the top several lines of the ST screen as you did for the DA screen:
Code:
Display  Filter  View  Print  Options  Help
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 SDSF DA MVSD  MVSD     PAG    0  CPU/L    45/ 45       LINE 0-0 (0)
COMMAND INPUT ===> DA                                         SCROLL ===> CSR

this is not the first post tonight (here and on other boards) were the OP swears everything is ok, which would mean that the compiler/SDSF/op-sys has a bug.
