Is there any command to lock the GDG base, so that if we read any version of this GDG it will give error. |

I am certain that you meant to say generation instead of version
Why would you want to do this ?
Please explain the reason for the request, i.e. exactly what and why you want to achieve, and maybe an answer can be found from someone who has already experienced this. |

yes i mean generation of GDG.
I have changed many GDG from old name to new name.
So, i just want to confirm than no GDG are remain. Just make sure that all GDG are rename to new one.
It is more than 200 members in which these GDG are used. |

You could probably have the security group change the UACC to NONE for the GDG base, but why not just delete the thing? If anything then refers to it, there will be a JCL error. |
