Audit trail on CICS programs

Hi,

Is it possible to generate a report in CICS to get list of programs executed over a period of time? The report should also contain the details of the user (user id at least) who accessed those programs.

For eg. I want to get the list of programs executed and the user who executed those programs for a week.

Please advise.

SMF record type 110 captures CICS data, assuming your CICS region is capturing the 110 records. You'll need to consult the CICS Customization Guide to determine if what you need can be retrieved, though. I don't know what all is captured in the 110 records.

And be aware that unless your site uses a package like MXG or MICS, deciphering the SMF records and accumulating the required data can be a very non-trivial task that requires accessing individual bits.

Yes.. we have statistics and monitoring enabled in our shop.
So, SMF 110 are being captured.
But I am not sure of extracting the data I mentioned earlier.

We dont have MXG or MICS.

We also have Mainview for CICS. Is it possible to get such report through mainview for CICS.
