Need to print '+' (plus sign on the ISPF panel)

I need to display '+' sign on the ispf panel but whenevr I am giving plus sign either in quotes(single or double) or without quotes it is being ignored.

Please suggest.

check Your panel definition to
make sure that any char You want to display in the panel as inline text
is NOT an attribute char

% (percent sign) -- text (protected) field, high intensity
+ (plus sign) -- text (protected) field, low intensity
_ (underscore) -- input (unprotected) field, high intensity
