Hi all,

Could anyone help me in knowing which is better.

I am interested in DB2 DBA but confused on which platform I should do.
I have 2 years of experience in Mainframes.

Let me know which is better. Is it DB2 UDB for Z/OS or DB2 UDB for LUW.
Which has a better demand ?

Appriciate if someone could give the exact differences between the two.

People here at the forum cannot tell you this. . .

You need to determine your goals and work to reach them. For some people, z/OS might be preferred while for others LUW might. I se and advantage in becoming capable at both.

This is completely dependent on the time and the place. There is no "fixed" answer.

Personally, i suggest that people invest in themselves and learn as much as possible, rather than waiting to see what might be offered.

Good luck icon_smile.gif
