Copy and Omit records without sorting?
Can any one explain how to use SUBSET in SORTOMIT?

It's not clear what you mean by this.

SUBSET is an operator of DFSORT's ICETOOL.

I don't know what you mean by SORTOMIT. SORT and OMIT are DFSORT control statements.

Please explain clearly what you want to do. Give an example of the records in your input file and what you expect for output. Give the RECFM and LRECL of the input file. Give the starting position, length and format of all relevant fields.
