I am studying Clist. I have not got any example of Clist Program. The only eg. I have got is to execute a panel using ISPEXEC. I don't know if it will be called a Clist program or anything else?

Code:
/*REXX*/
TRACE I
"ISPEXEC LIBDEF ISPPLIB DATASET ID('PRD.Y00XXX.REXX')"
"ISPEXEC DISPLAY PANEL(PANMOD01)"
"ISPEXEC ADDPOP ROW(1) COLUMN(6)"
"ISPEXEC LIBDEF ISPPLIB"

Please tell if this would be called a REXX program or clist?

Edited: Please use BBcode when You post some code/error, that's rather readable, Thanks... Anuj

What made you think that CLIST can be an option here?

"CLIST issues commands of the Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF) ISPEXEC to display full-screen panels."

This statement made me to think whether it is a Clist or Rexx.

ISPF services (noted by ISPEXEC & ISPLINK) can be invoked from any supported language (CLIST, REXX, COBOL, NATURAL, C, PL/I etc.).

Both rexx and clist programs can reside in the SYSPROC libraries. The system tells them apart because /* rexx */ is required in the first line for rexx programs. While it is in the form of a comment, it is a required statement.

It is not clear why you are studying clists... unless you have a job requirement to do so, I recommend learning rexx instead.
