To my knowledge, I feel that stored procedures simplifies the SQL queries and maintains integrity and security. Can you explain me more, how it has impact on the size of the database?
If several programs want to execute a set of SQL queries, then they will call a stored procedure which has functionalites of such SQL queries by approriate CALL statement. This prevents the one from knowing DB2 relaed information and adds security to the system. |
