As he typed the word 'SUB', the hair on his neck stood up and a tingling sensation swept through his body. As he hit the 'ENTER' key, somewhere in the dark recesses of his mind there sounded a howl of anguish, followed by a blood curdling scream...."Noooooooooooooooooooo!" Then he realized his mistake..."

Concern. Distress. More anguish. . .
What to do. . .? What to do?
Hide it? Blame it on someone else? Act innocent?
Strange how differently the phone rings when you want a call versus when you really, really don't. Not only is the phone ringing with that maniacally urgent tone, but caller-id reveals that this call originated in the Computer Operations Center. . .
Oh why could this not be a wrong numner or a tele-marketer. . .?
"Uhhh, Hello". . . |

"IS THIS THE USER, HX1431." voice said over the phone.
I feel a sudden cold, a chillness in the AIR, my palms are sweating, as i started to breathe heavily as i hold the phone. I could feel my heart beat raise. My head is spinning with the thoughts of disaster.
oh my god! oh my god! oh my god!
What should i do ? What should i do ?
Should i just hang up the phone and run home ? Should i act like, there is phone problem ? why did i say HELLO ? "hello is to greet someone". This guy is gonnna...........swallowed the word.
Thinking, Why am i thinking about hello ?.
"YES"
"Well hi! there.". "How was your day ?"
"GOOD", i replied.
"Let me tell you, how its gonna be...... ?" |

The night shift supervisor sits down next to you and says, "I know you didn't mean to code the M on that region size -- the K is too close on the keyboard. So watch the keys next time, okay? The system came to a halt trying to get that much memory for your job." |
