Hi,
I know this command --> C ALL 53 NAME1 NAME2 --> which changes all the NAME1 to NAME2 which are in column 53. But another version of the same command is --
1>F ALL NAME1 53
2>C ALL * NAME2
As far as I know, both work similarly. But when I tested it, it didn't. It actually changed all the NAME1 to NAME2, not only the one's present in column 53 ie., I was expecting that only NAME1 which when present in column 53 will be changed to NAME2 -- but instead all the occurrences of NAME1 are changed to NAME2. Is this command expected to perform in this way only? |
