About ESCAPE statement

Hi,

Would like get more clarification on ESCAPE statement. Specially, the below scene:

1. ESCAPE BOTTOM IMMEDIATE
2. ESCAPE ROUTINE IMMEDIATE

I read how these works however, need clarification on IMMEDIATE clause (that does not end processing loop as per docos). How/Where the control is transferred after IMMEDIATE clause on it and what does exactly mean by 'it does not end processing loop'.

The Natural documentation says:

If you specify the keyword IMMEDIATE, no loop-end processing will be performed.


Loop end processing statements are like 'at the end of file','at break' etc etc.
