Hi,

I have table of rowLENGTH 8138 & PageSize 8K. It is assign'd to BUFFERPOOL of BP8K. According to the pagesize, only one record can fit in a page.

So, if i ALTER TABLESPACE to bufferpool BP16K, and the pagesize will be 16K, so that 2 records can fit in a page.

Will there be any performance improvement ?

Sushanth

Hello,

Probably only if both rows are selected at the same time. . . As both rows would be "in core" some i/o might be saved.
