Hello,
Are you really using tso/ispf? I suspect you you are using xedit?
Are you trying to actually run in vm or are you trying to submit from vm to some guest machine (dos/vse, mvs, etc)? I've not seen things run in vm for a long time. . .
Suggest you speak with your local vm support people as they will know exactly how to submit & copy on your system. |

Is there any "TSO/ISPF" component to your situation? If not, why ask in the TSO/ISPF forum? |

Hello,
Try "help vmbatch" or "help submit" and see if anything useful is displayed. It has been too long since i used vm (and then it was to front-end z/vse). . .
Suggest you locate and talk with the vm system support people. |

A real blast from the past...
The 'usual' way is to spool your virtual machine's punch into the target machine's rdr:
SPool PUNch destname
Then punch the JCL deck across with a noheader option:
PUNCH fn ft fm (NOH
Most sites tend to knock up some kind of shared exec on the system 190 disk, usually called SUB or SUBMIT.
I miss VM. Any operating system designed to look the user in the eye and lie through its teeth can't be all bad...
Cheers! |
