Hi,
I am taking backups of some huge files. And I want to know which one is more efficient Fileaid or IDCAMS and in what way it is efficient? Or is there some other utility that can give better performance than these two?
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks
Sathya. |

DF/DSS is usually pretty good at backups, although FIle Aid certainly can be used for backups. IDCAMS isn't as good a choice as DF/DSS since DF/DSS is designed to create backups. |

Neither. . .
As Robert suggested, DF/DSS would be a far better choice |

I've not used DF/DSS in a long time, but as far as the others mentioned, I've found that your sort product will usually outperform IEBGENER, IDCAMS, or File-Aid. |
