Hi,
I have a GDG base with 10 generations.
I need to copy 5 generations from this GDG to another GDG that has been created in the previous jobstep in the same job.
The output GDG should contain 5 generations corresponding to 5 input generations.
Can anybody suggest on how this can be implemented.
Thanks,
Deepthi |

Hello and welcome to the forums,
Create 5 "copy" steps using iebgener, sort, or some other utility. |

Hi Dick,
Thanks, but is there any way to do that in one or two steps as 5 gen. was example but actually I have more generations to be copied.
Thanks,

Write a REXX code to do it. |
