ADDRESS SPACE CREATION FAILED

Hi all,

I don't know to which forum this question will suitable , that's i am posting this forum.

While i am trying accesses my host session i got the error message as

IKT00203I ADDRESS SPACE CREATION FAILED It's not allowing me to accesses host seeison.

I searched in forum for informtion about this i couldn't.

Please tell me the reason why i am geeting this error message and how resolve.

Don't you have a MVS team support or a Help desk?
From here and anywehere else except your site, I guess it will be difficult to solve it.

I want to know how to solve this issue ( very helpful if you provide any manulas ).

We have a support team but beacuse of time zones difference i couldn't able to ask this question now to them.

The system PAGE datasets are full.

When virtual memory usage exceeds REAL memory, the excess is stored on PAGE datasets. If someone runs wild on a GETMAIN and the PAGE files fill up, no new jobs can start.

Cancel the offender or PAGE files can be added on the fly by the MVS support team.

The link that Pierre provided is for LOOKAT, a tool to search for messages. But the search key is the message number. Search for IKT00203I (or any other message number), do not search for a text of the message.

System page datasets are part of the operating system setup. They are used to backup real storage. They are described in chapter 2 of 'Init and Tuning Guide', SA22-7591-06

looks like the operation and system support have been sleeping...

usually before an address space creation failure ( if the system has been properly setup )
the should have been a bunch of IRA.... messages warning and error type

but maybe they were lost in the <CRHISTMAS> champagne bubbles
